DEPARTMENT OF CLASSICS

Jeanne Ravid's teaching interests included Latin language and pedagogy, epic, lyric poetry, and the Greek and Latin roots of medical terminology.  In addition to her position in Classics, she was a longtime member of the Council on Language Instruction (CLI). Jeanne served as a former Weinberg College Adviser and Prelaw Adviser.
